The Great Men Program 1-Year Anniversary
January 28, 2020
January 28, 2020
What are the main attachments in life that hold men back from God? Which one of them do I resolve, with the help of the Holy Spirit, to let go of in 2020?
We become what we do, and the quality of the ultimate outcome is in how we do it. Do I outwardly practice what I believe internally? Why not?
Think about one thing you will do different.

Dr. Peter E. Raad is a professor of mechanical engineering at SMU in Dallas, Texas. He first joined SMU in 1986 and has previously served as the associate dean of its School of Engineering. From 2000 to 2012, he founded and directed the Hart eCenter at SMU, a university-wide center to address the impact of the interactive networked technologies on society. During that time, he also founded and directed The Guildhall at SMU, a novel, graduate program to educate and train future practitioners and innovators in digital game development, a program that is currently ranked first in the world.
On June 2, 2018, Bishop Edward Burns ordained Raad to the Order of Deacon for the Diocese of Dallas, and assigned him to serve at St. Monica Catholic Church. Dcn. Peter and his wife Jocelyne were born in Lebanon where they were raised in the Maronite Catholic Rite. They married in 1982, have four grown children (three daughters and a son), and have lived in Dallas since 1986. They were parishioners of St. Thomas Aquinas for a couple of years, then of St. Patrick for a dozen years, and until his diaconal assignment, of St. Rita for 20 years.
