One’s perception can be one’s reality. Respect and appreciate one’s reality but challenge it.
As you go down the path you continue to break down barriers and God will continue to show grace and allow for purification of the understanding of reality and understanding of love.
Emotions are powerful tools. Leads to humility and helps us build our identities.
Un-tie so you let go of resentments. Then and only then you have the capacity to love others (how can I love anyone else or receive love if I can’t love myself first?).
Do have barriers that are stopping us to be the person we need to be?
Faith and reason go hand in hand.
Choose to believe that heaven is going to be a full glass. God allows your drink to be bigger. Capacity to love through the sacrifice, everyday try hard to learn and to grow in the capacity to love. Through cross-bearing moments we can be more capable – let me live longer to keep making a difference.
What barriers prevent us from incorporating spirituality in our daily mental and physical health routines?
How are we incorporating our spiritual life into the other things? Work can be unemotional.
Block off 3 to 3:15 for reflection/prayer.
Not realizing how short life is. Would put important things into perspective.
Time. Don’t have or don’t make the time. We look to escape, not having accountability. Not prioritizing. Laziness, busyness.
Lack of self-knowledge – what makes you who you are
How can we continue as men of faith to better purify our understanding of what love is?
Emotional reactivity. Be in touch with spiritual center.
Desire to desire. Need to get better, grow on our faith. Making time for this meeting. Having a spiritual advisor.
Allow yourself to forgive yourself
Take time to learn what true love is and put love into action (do love)
What is your cross to carry to show love? Find your channel – allow God to show you what love is and how He is calling you to show/understand love.
